New environments open on a timeframe that fits their age

A brand new environment now opens on a short timeframe, so you see your first data right away instead of an almost empty 24 hour chart.

The Flare CLI handles sign-in problems better

Sign-in keeps waiting when your browser can't open on its own, and a rejected token now tells you how to sign in again. Available in flare-cli 0.3.0.

Push tokens no longer have a read or write setting

Every install needs a token to send metrics and fetch trace rules, so the setting did nothing useful. Creating a token is now one less decision.

Clear error when an app reports to a deleted project

Apps still reporting to a project you deleted now get a "project was deleted" response instead of a generic error.

Only admins and owners can manage tokens and environments

Creating, changing and deleting API tokens and environments now takes the admin or owner role.

The flare gem won't hold up your app's shutdown

Flare now spends at most 5 seconds sending its last data when your app exits. Available in the flare gem 0.4.1.

More accurate 1 and 6 hour operation charts

Operation charts and totals for 1 and 6 hours now use minute-level data and fill the whole window you picked.

The local dashboard records every request

In development, Flare now records requests locally even when they aren't sampled for production. Available in the flare gem 0.4.0.

Add Flare to your home screen

Flare has its own app icon and install details, and the command palette now opens from the mobile menu button on pages without a side menu.
